1979 – Established the Commission of Inquiry on Aviation Safety headed by Justice Charles Dubin.
1979 – Established the Mississauga Railway Accident Inquiry, headed by Justice Sam Grange.
1986 – Established the Commission of Inquiry into the Hinton Train Collision headed by Justice René Foisy.
1989 – Commission Council to the Commission of Inquiry into the Air Ontario Crash at Dryden, Ontario, headed by Justice Virgil Moshansky.
